Dave Sloan Founder of BigTalker, a marketplace of workshops for soft-skills like emotional Intelligence, mindfulness, empathetic listening, managing your emotions at work, professional presence, communication skills, and teamwork. Dave learned how to code at a web development immersive program.

Heather Rivers Director of Engineering at Mode Heather has experience in coding, hiring technical contributors, building teams, and probing for values and company fit in interviews.

Xander Peterson Software Engineer at Roostify & alumni of Dev Bootcamp. Xander is a graduate of Dev Bootcamp (Fall 2015) and has been an active alumnus and mentor since. He is currently a software engineer at Roostify, which enables a more efficient, transparent mortgage process for lenders, agents and homebuyers.

Moderator: James Bomotti, an instructor at Dev Bootcamp. James came from a legal background working for the Marin County Public Defender’s Office. He is a graduate of Dev Bootcamp and is now an instructor at Dev Bootcamp, teaching coding in both remote and in person settings.
