How to Nominate/Apply

NYC Venture Fellows has a three-phase competitive nomination/application process to identify and select exceptional candidates. To be considered for the fellowship, candidates for NYC Venture Fellows must meet the following criteria:

• Is a Founder or CEO of a fast growing company;
• Has a history of extraordinary achievement, substantial leadership, and demonstrated global perspective;
• Would benefit from CEO-level mentorship and the opportunity to learn from and contribute to a group of fellow founders and CEOs of fast-growing companies; and
• Is based in NYC or has plans to expand a global venture to NYC.

Note to nominators: There is no cap on the number one can nominate.

Phase One: Nominations

Nominations for the class of 2015 are open July 15th-September 15th.

Phase Two: Application

Application submissions are open September 16th–October 15th.

Note: The application form will ask the candidate for basic personal information, company information, a current CV/résumé, headshot, and completion of a short questionnaire. The candidate will also be able to include optional information of no more than three additional pages, such as articles or citations.

Phase Three: Review and Selection

Final selection will be made by a committee of global and New York City industry leaders. The members of this year’s selection committee will be announced at a later date.

• Top 45 candidates are interviewed the week of November 3
• Selection Committee convenes the week of November 10th to select up to 30 Fellows
• Accepted finalists notified by email on November 20th
• 2015 Fellows attend 2014 Closing/ 2015 Opening Reception on December 10th
