Since humans first settled in cities thousands of years ago, technology has repeatedly revolutionized the way we live. Just in the last 200 years, steam, electricity and the automobile have radically changed the daily lives of city residents. We are now poised for a revolution based on digital technology that can improve quality of life and make cities more human-focused, while using scarce resources more efficiently. Sidewalk Labswill discuss the opportunities and challenges that they are taking on as they start up right here in New York City.

The agenda for this event is:

5:30 - 6:30 pm: Attendees Register / Networking

6:30 - 7:15 pm: Welcome, Talks, Q&A

7:15 - 8:00 pm: Networking and Goodnight

Please note the venue entrance is on the 8th Avenue side of the building, and you should enter at the 8th Ave / 16 St corner. If you mistakenly go to the 9th Avenue entrance, building security will ask you to walk around the building (on the outside!) The A,C,E trains stop on the 8th Avenue side.

The RSVP name will be provided to building security in advance - so please register with your real name (first/last) as this will significantly speed up registration. Security requires you to show a form of identification at the time of check-in. If you require special accommodations, please let us (the organizers) know.

Google volunteers will also be present at the event to answer any questions you may have. Look for people wearing "Google" t-shirts.
