Join Us March 6 to Recognize International Women's Day with the Screening of Girl Rising
Saturday, March 8 marks the 103rd International Women's Day, a global day dedicated to celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women while focusing world attention on areas requiring further action. This year's theme is Inspiring Change.
SunGard Women's Initiative Network (WIN) is hosting screenings of Girl Rising across SunGard offices to recognize the day. The documentary follows girls in nine different countries and highlights how education has changed their lives and the people around them. The film originated from the question of "how do we solve poverty, and the answer is "by educating women.

We align our corporate citizenship activities with our business mission and values so we have invited the New York Chapter of Girls Develop It to join us. They are an international organization that aims to empower women of diverse background to learn how to develop software, through mentorship and hands-on instruction.
