The environmental event of the year! 🌎🏆 The 2025 Goldman Environmental Prize San Francisco ceremony and reception is on Monday, April 21.
✨ For the first time ever, the Goldman Environmental Prize is thrilled to offer a limited number of tickets to SF Climate Week attendees. Please submit your attendance request by Monday, April 7, at 5:00 pm PDT.
If your request is approved:
📍Location: The ceremony and reception location and check-in information will be shared via email prior to the event.
👗 Attire: Cocktail to business attire
💚 Age Limit: The reception is 21+

For 36 years, the Goldman Environmental Prize has celebrated grassroots environmental heroes from around the world. About the Ceremony:
The ceremony is by invitation only and lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. After the ceremony, guests are invited to attend a reception.
✨ HOST: Rue Mapp – Rue Mapp is a trailblazing leader in the environmental and outdoor community. She is the founder & CEO of Outdoor Afro, a nonprofit organization dedicated to celebrating and inspiring Black connections and leadership in nature.
✨ SPEAKER: Jennifer Goldman Wallis – A board member of the Goldman Environmental Foundation, Jennifer Goldman Wallis continues her family’s legacy of philanthropy to protect the environment.
✨ SHORT FILM NARRATION: Sigourney Weaver – An Academy award-winning actor, Sigourney Weaver is a committed environmental activist, recognized by the National Audubon Society, Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, and Natural Resources Defense Council.
✨ MUSICAL PERFORMANCE: Rueda Con Ritmo featuring Son Chévere – Founded in San Francisco in 2007, Rueda Con Ritmo is a dance school and company dedicated to preserving and sharing the joy of Cuban social dances. Rueda Con Ritmo will be performing with Son Chévere, a Bay Area quartet that specializes in Cuban dance music.
