Raising Business Capital 2015
Startup & Growth-Stage Firms

Mike Segal, Co-Founder, New York Private Equity Forums
Charles Albanese, President, Keiretsu Forum, New York
Pascal Nigen, Managing Partner, Alpha Bronze

The stock market is at an all-time high and economic reports are favorable. Yet, entrepreneurs across the country are asking - will this have a positive impact on the funding market for startups and growth-stage firms? Will angel, venture capital, and private equity investors collectively be more willing to open their checkbooks to entrepreneurial companies? The event will provide an assessment of the current funding climate in the U.S. for domestic and foreign-based firms, and provide perspectives on where the funding market is headed.

Event topics will include, among others:
- Has the rise in the stock market translated into a better funding market?
- Where can reliable data be found that tracks investments made in the sector?
- Are there sectors which currently are "in" or "out", and which ones are they?
- What is the most efficient way to find funding sources that view your industry favorably?
- What are the current trends in organizing and conducting a funding campaign?
- Is it advisable or necessary to have outside firms run your campaign?
