Orange Business invites you to their event

Hello Wednesday by Orange Silicon Valley "How technology innovations are enabling rapid disaster detection and response"

About this event

Join us on Wednesday, June 1st from 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM (PST) / 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM (CEST)

New possibilities for predicting and responding to disasters are emerging because of advances in technologies like artificial intelligence, edge connectivity, supercomputing, satellite communications, and mobile devices. This Hello Wednesday virtual public event features presentations and discussion from the members of a unique collaboration between Orange Silicon Valley, NVIDIA, Balcony Labs, and Orange Business Services to test and model a solution with wide ranging applications that builds on the power of these innovations.

Supercomputing is an important contribution to enabling and reinforcing risk prevention. The combination of AI supercomputing at the edge of the network and targeted two-way messaging with mobile phones at the site of a disaster is transformative. Earth observation satellites are the most effective instruments for the collection of geospatial intelligence data at a global scale, allowing for time-critical data gathering for actionable insights. A solution integrating these advances is applicable in many contexts — both reactive situations such as wars and terrorist attacks, and proactive initiatives such as informational support and training campaigns which require the coordination of multiple teams and tools.

Join us to learn how these innovations are a game-changer in preventing loss of life, property, and infrastructure.

We hope you can join us for this exciting and informative event.
